Quickstart

This guide takes you from an idea to a running workflow in a few minutes.

In the prompt box, describe the process you want to automate — end to end, in plain language. Include who does what, any decisions or conditions, what information to collect, and any notifications or outcomes.

Example prompt

“Create a customer complaint workflow. Capture the customer’s name, email, order number, and a description of the issue. Triage the complaint by severity, assign it to a support agent, let them investigate and record an outcome, notify the customer by email when it’s resolved, and track open vs resolved complaints on a dashboard.”

assess.one generates the workflow and shows you:

  • Steps — the sequence of actions, decisions, and waits.
  • Fields & forms — the information it captures.
  • Dashboards & views — how you’ll track records.

Read through it to check it matches your intent.

If something’s missing or wrong, describe the change in plain language — for example, “also send an SMS when the complaint is received” or “add an approval step before issuing a refund”. See Refining a workflow.

When you’re happy, publish the workflow. Publishing makes it live in your workspace so it can run.

Start the workflow the way you designed it — usually by submitting its intake form (you can share the form link) or triggering it manually. Each run creates a record that moves through the steps. From there you’ll:

  • complete tasks assigned to you or your team,
  • action approvals,
  • and watch progress on your dashboards.
