Plans

assess.one offers a Free plan and tiered paid plans with higher allowances and more features. For the current plan comparison and prices, see the pricing page.

You can start for free and upgrade when you need more — manage your subscription in Settings → Billing.

How billing works — operations

assess.one plans are billed by operations — nothing else.

An operation is one record created against a workflow. Each time a workflow runs — one form submission, one request, one order — that is one operation, regardless of how many steps the workflow has.

Operations count records, not steps

An operation is the record itself, not the steps inside it.

• A workflow with 3 steps or 30 steps = 1 operation per record.
• A record that moves through 20 steps is still 1 operation — not 20.

The steps inside a workflow (create a record, send an email, take a payment, wait for approval…) are never counted as operations. Only the record that flows through them is.

Usage

You’re billed on operations — not on users, and not on AI usage.

• Workspace members are free. Add as many people to your workspace as you like — assess.one never charges per user or per seat.
• AI is unlimited on paid plans. Generating and refining workflow drafts with AI is not metered or charged on any paid plan — draft and refine as much as you like.
• The Free plan is the only plan with an AI limit. It caps how many workflow drafts and refinements you can generate with AI. If you reach the limit, upgrade to any paid plan for unlimited AI. (Answering a question in the prompt box — rather than generating a workflow — doesn’t count against the Free limit.)

In short: you pay for the work your workflows do (operations), not for the size of your team or how much you use the AI to build them.

Email & SMS

Sending email and SMS from your workflows is separate from operations — it uses credits, and every plan includes a starter allowance so you can get going straight away.

• Every workspace comes with included email and SMS credits — no setup, no provider account — so you can build and trial messaging in your workflows immediately. (See the exact allowances on the Email & SMS page.)
• These starter credits are meant to get you started and suit trials and low volumes. They apply on all plans.

For production use, connect your own email and SMS provider. You can connect your own AWS (email and SMS) or Twilio (SMS) account — sends then come from your account and are unmetered (they don’t use credits). We recommend this for any real, ongoing sending, because a production-grade provider gives you:

• Better deliverability — your own verified sending domain and sender reputation, so more messages reach the inbox.
• Enhanced reporting & visibility — full delivery, bounce, and engagement reporting in your provider’s console.
• Your own branding and identity — messages send under your name, not assess.one’s.
• Unmetered volume — no per-message credit cost, so you can scale without limits.

Teams & roles

Workspaces support multiple members — at no per‑user cost. Work is routed to people by role (for example, tasks assigned to “Support” or approvals sent to “Manager”), so your workflows keep working as your team changes. Manage members in your workspace settings.

Your data

Each workspace’s data is isolated from every other workspace. Credentials you enter for integrations are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions your workflows request.
